Gerber Auto Covert Automatic Knife vs Morakniv Companion F Fixed Knife Black/Orange Handle

Gerber auto is the worst knife I've ever bought. It is pure garbage and gerber should shut its fucking doors. Looks like a blind child made it, nothingnis straight, it came butter knife sharp, and the action literally doesnt work.

Nice blade, terrible handle. The holes and detachment system cause blisters and are just super uncomfortable.

They also have a line made in the US which is of higher quality but costs quite a bit more. I will be buying the American made version of this knife at around $150.00. It's a decent knife if the price was a little lower

Unless MoraKniv sells replacements specifically for this knife, it will become no better than the standard MoraKniv companion which is half it's price. Bottom line: Don't get this knife. You're better off getting the standard Companion and a separate fire starter kit. It'll be nearly the same price, if not cheaper, and you won't be SOL once your flint wears down
