Knife has chip in the blade

Love the knife but blade came with a very noticeable chip in it towards the point hope it sharpens out but I still think that it’s crazy to have a chip in a 200 dollar knife. wish I’d gotten it from a store instead of amazon

I like the flow through design of this knife, the steel and the G10, I think the original freek will have durability issue with its handle but this G10 version is as good as it gets. It is an EDC classic, and is completely ambidextrous. Plus Benchmade has the best warranty and is a known name for quality... a lot of people who aren’t “knife people” have still heard of Benchmade, and the 940 is one of their flagship knives. It would be a shame to discount Benchmade because of “political issues”, as you will be missing out on a lot of quality knife designs. If you’re looking for something a bit more rugged, the Benchmade Super Freek is also a great choice.
