Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 Hawkbill Folder Knife Review
The Tasman Salt 2 family utilizes Spyderco’s back lock mechanism–a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center. This model, the C106PBK2, features a black FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) handle, a satin finished hawkbill style blade, Spyderco’s trademark round hole opening feature and the fully reversible 4-way titanium pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry on either side of the handle. This knife will make for your next go-to diving knife, because it doesn’t rust, it is low maintenance, and the Bi-Directional texturing on the handle will give you a solid grip in almost any situation or environment

Incredible!
It doesn’t matter if you get the hawkbill blade, the wharncliffe, the original salt modified drop point...these are such great knives. Strong, easy to use back lock, totally ambidextrous, super lightweight, very easy one hand opening, great craftsmanship and quality, and an amazing steel! They come ...

Spyderco Tasman Salt 2 Knife Review | Ep. 204
What i don't like about a lot of river knives that are uh, that that are external knives, is that, instead of being curved out, it's kind of back, and so this is the knife a lot of people like to use. This is a dive knife that people swear by because it has a really good locking mechanism and it's true. This knife is not going to fall out of its mechanism, but it's also not going to cut this rope

My personal favorite
I had an older version of this knife that I unfortunately forgot to leave at home when I went to the airport to board a commercial flight...now, I'm sure some TSA person has it. It was my daily carry knife that was always in my pocket, and I was surprised at how much I missed it once I lost it. So n...

Great Knife, A few Tweaks would = 5 stars
Excellent; have had it in saltwater and pool water with no sign of rust. Very light weight and very sharp. Claw blade is nice in some situations (fishing!! Etc.) but maybe not in others. If they made the grip a little larger and had steel liners I’d give it 5 stars, but I doubt I’ll be breaking the ...

Spyderco Tasman Salt
What you can't even really tell anymore, because I've been fidgeting with it so much and then thought I'd do that they go here for you guys, so just really really so far! My impressions are, I really like this knife. It's very thin, it's extremely thin, and that is one of the most attractive aspects for me on a knife. If it's really thin and lightweight that gets me really pumped okay, I don't like a big chunky knife

My new River knife.
My new River knife. Hopefully I will never have to use this in a emergency situation, but it is comforting knowing that it is there. Spyderco knives are very sharp and are guaranteed to slice through a piece of wedding in 1 cut. Do you blade is secure when opened and secure when closed. The handle f...

Blemished, beautiful blade
Blemished, beautiful blade on an extremely light, yellow handle. The blade had a fingerprint smudge on it when unboxed and opened, no big deal, have seen this from time to time. What hurts is that the blade tip on this knife has been impacted by something that made it slightly rounded and there are ...

Lightweight, durable, and sharp - very well designed
My husband used to get this exact knife for free from work but he could no longer get them when he went to the contractors. He used his last one until it completely fell apart and was disappointed with every other knife he tried after that. He didn’t want to spend the money on one of these, but he i...
