Gerber Auto Covert Automatic Knife

Gerber auto is the worst knife I've ever bought. It is pure garbage and gerber should shut its fucking doors. Looks like a blind child made it, nothingnis straight, it came butter knife sharp, and the action literally doesnt work.

I like the look and feel. I carry it everyday, even in slacks while working at my office job.

- It feels just like me Rex Applegate Combat Folder, just a little smaller

The knife feels good in the hand and opens quickly. The blade comes with a horrid edge and will need some work out of the box. Not nearly as well made as their other Applegate-Fairbairn Knives, especially the safety switch feels very cheap and plasticy (is that a word). Over priced and the operating spring is "squeaky" noisy both on opening and closing. The lock does not operate smoothly, it takes deliberate effort to work it. Features I like... Gerber makes a good blade. I like the sleek way it feels and handles. Keeps an edge well. Downside, I don't like the locking mechanism. When you slide it into your pocket it pushes the unlocking device UP which can release the lock and the LAST thing I want is for it to open INSID...

good quality knife as far as the material, but it scratches the blade when it opens, the lock mechanism works ok, i think it was just that knife i probably, it has a lifetime warranty so when i take it back i will probably get a better one, if you want a nice switch blade, i would reccomend this or ...

It's a sweet design but I just done like it. It's got too much blade play. The button lock is so cheap it honestly feels like a toy. The springs are so loud when you open and close it it literally echos through the room. Love the design though. I've had 15 dollar knives that feel better honestly.
