 Starting with the fuzz halfway, let's clean up this tele just by rolling back the guitar's volume knob. Here we go. Here's a fat overdriven fuzz with the level increased to give those tubes some extra sizzle tone and back to normal. Start with something simple and cheap like an Electro Harmonix Big Muff, and don’t get too bent out of shape on the version (Russian, op amp, etc), they all sound roughly the same overall. If you want a Hendrix like sound, look at a Dunlop fuzz face. These are probably the two easiest entry fuzzes out there, and won’t cost an arm and a leg like some of the boutique options.
