 Well, this is going to be the part where the video starts to get subjective. Everybody hears sound differently, everybody has a different room, and everybody has different likes and dislikes when it comes to audio, so I can't say for sure if you'll like this receiver or not. With that said, personally, I was very pleased with the sound of this receiver. It had a very smooth and laid-back sound that I tend to prefer, while at the same time it still had plenty of detail and liveliness

Is this the NEW BUDGET ATMOS RECEIVER KING from Costco? | DENON AVR-S750H AV Receiver REVIEW!

Boy was I wrong. I just picked up a Denon AVR-S750H earlier this week for around $550. Oh my God.

This is your PSA to buy a new receiver if you have one that "works ok"

Don't like it because Denon removed the input / outputs , So you're locked into a Denon with NO share but bluetooth. You have one input on this device with NO outputs for other devices

. this Denon unit is very widely recommended, but it's an expensive pile of garbage at the moment.

 While there is about 8 months left on the 2 year Denon warranty, it's going to cost me >$100 to ship it to the nearest authorized service center whereupon they may or may not decide it's covered by the warranty. The service center said if it's determined to be covered by warranty, they'll likely just send me a refurb unit. If it's not covered by warranty, the service will cost me between $100-200 and may take several months, plus I'll be on the hook for return shipping. At which point I could have probably bought a new, more reliable unit

HDMI output died after 16 months

 Um, so here's the front of it. We've got cable bluetooth game heroes and then we've got our different sound modes: the master volume, the source input selector, zone one or two on or off the source for zone one or two tuners, presets for your radio band mode, dimmer, and status. This features the Odyssey multi Eq, so you can plug in the microphone and fine-tune this receiver to your room. It's also got built-in bluetooth and airplay, so if you have an iphone, it automatically will find it on if it's connected to the Wi-fi in your house and you don't need anything else, anybody who comes over can pair their phone

 You have the ability to hook up seven speakers so of course front, two, left, and right, the center for the front, the surround rear, left, and um, right and then even the height, rear, and height left speaker outputs. so that is a quick look at the Denon receiver. If you guys have any questions, go ahead and leave them down below. Let me know your thoughts and opinions

 We have the antenna for the Fm radio. Our subwoofer output are video inputs and outputs Monitors digital audio in coaxial, odd optical. I would say just go with optical for everything network cable if you needed that and then we can. Also, this has Hdmi pass-through so we can just route our Hdmi devices into here and then shoot it out with the monitor cable

 I think I paid about 300 refurbished on Denon's site and I just want to go over some of the features here. I have it paired on um, these Bose Acoustimass, 10s and it's really cool because this denim system has its own user interface and it supports Internet radio, Siriusxm, Pandora, Alexa, Amazon, I mean Google Home. all that good stuff is built right into that receiver and I found on the web alexa stop so we can hit this kiosk music and that's what's um, the system that's built in. it has it on most Denon products and I would really say this is a game changer for the receiver guys

 I think the umi k1 is the popular choice. Maybe if i use that or sound better, i don't know maybe i'll play around with that in the future, but anyways it sounds good. I'M gon na listen to it for a week, just like i did with acuq and see how it sounds, but let's go ahead and go over the menus, real, quick before we conclude this video alright. So, first of all there is this little quick menu here

 Let me turn down the volume we're going to go ahead and use accu eq first, because i want to use direct live the second time i do this, so we're going to go ahead and try out this one first, so we've got our mic set up here. We'Re gon na click next, it says to place the microphone center there. So, as you can see, everything was detected, so i'm just gon na go ahead and click next all right, so you can measure up to nine positions. I'M gon na click finish for now, because i'm gon na probably use direct live, but we're just gon na go ahead and see how this did all right

 So i had the onkyo tx nr838 with the first generation of accu eq, and it didn't really have that. Many options and the testing was pretty basic, but it sounded okay. Now this one. I think this is third generation

 That probably explains why i don't feel any bass when i'm listening to movies all right and then, if you press the i button on the remote you get this option here. So you have the input and then the output. So right now i'm not really playing anything. So it says two channels, but if i play a movie on my computer it'll say something else, and then here we have the input, as you can see

Onkyo TX-RZ50 Review - Best A/V Receiver of 2021?

 It makes you wonder if it's really worth it to pay more is the rotel and the nadt778 better in terms of absolute definition between your speakers yeah, but the onkyo isn't exactly embarrassed by either of them. Now, when watching movies, there is no difference. Spatial cues are rendered with such precision and disregard for the physical boundaries of your room that dolby atmos mixed films like a quiet, place, 2 surrounded me and it surrounded me at times, even without my surround sound channels connected yeah, i'm talking about a 3.1 or 3

 Fourteen hundred dollars, uh, give or take is uh not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but this particular receiver is so good that if you can stretch your budget from the six seven hundred dollar mark of some of these budget ones up to fourteen hundred dollars, Not only are you getting a better receiver, but i think the onkyo is every bit the equal of receivers that are costing three four five thousand dollars right now. Yeah i mean i as far as your point about your comparisons that you made with the rotel and the nad, the rotel. We don't have it in house anymore and my especially when it comes to amplifiers and receivers unless there's a dramatic difference in the sound. It'S very difficult for me to honestly say yeah

 The direct and pure audio modes of the onkyo are fantastic and they are neck and neck uh with the right speakers. They are neck and neck with the two channel performance of some integrateds in and around the same price point of the receiver. So you can kind of look at it from that standpoint in that, if you can get by with 120 watt per channel receiver same as you maybe can get by by a 75 watt or 100 watt per channel integrated and your budget is still in that 1500 Realm, but you do like movies on occasion and things like that, the onkyo is a far more versatile product. It just is - and one thing i didn't touch upon in the review, because we only have so much time but the rz50, unlike the 5100, does have a built-in moving magnet phono preamp and it is actually pretty serviceable

The BEST RECEIVER for Home Theater? ONKYO TX-RZ50 REVIEW - 8K Receiver

I am tending towards the ones in blue, given my budget ($1500, but looking for excellent value for less).

The Dolby digital is also very impressive. A complaint that I do have is if you run Dirac Live room correction on it, for some reason it messes up the bass when using 2 channel stereo mode. In stereo there was very little base coming out of my subs, although when in Dolby 5.1 mode it sounded great
