 One of the other biggest pros that i've really come to enjoy with these is using the curve options which are fantastic envelope, modifiers to add some great variation to the sounds. I have only recently picked up the 12 in the desktop format and that there is my biggest regret that i didn't do it sooner. I could quite happily replace seventy percent of the gear i have here with just the deep minds: they're they're, just absolutely absolutely astounding. Um sense having the six and the twelve together is just incredible what you can do so, if anybody's been sitting on the fence regarding the deep minds, i can highly highly recommend them um

 I actually find really quite straightforward on these, as well with the one button per function, there's really very little menu diving to be had unless you're going into you know kind of unusual territory having up to the 32 second envelope release time. That'S you know. It'S almost unheard of for us and which is just phenomenal, especially you know, with what these are good at and what they're known for, which, which is kind of you, know thick lush pads. I find that the presets on these are really inspirational

Behringer DeepMind Polyphonic Analogue Synthesizer: 1 Year Honest Unbiased Review - Pro's & Cons -

While I like the soft synths I really want a hands on approach to my sound.  I don't mind some menu diving (obviously), but I want more explicit control over a sound engine and not just mapping controller shortcuts.  My current picks are the Behringer DeepMind 12 or the ASM Hydrasynth, the Argon8 is a possible.  I've also considered Behringer's Arp 2600 clone, but I'm not sure if I want a mono synth or being ready for getting into modular because of the cost and space

  I like the sound of the Deepmind 12 a lot and I also really like the Hydrasynth but I don't know how sold I am on FM, however the Hydrasynth seems to be an absolute MONSTER at sound design and I love me some good sound design.

 Can you start for the Great's? I think all that'd be nice with a bit and then you're off into this kind of world of sound design which takes this really to another level. Okay, so I am actually pretty impressed with this synthesizer I mean considering. This is the first product for a whole new division of behringer. It really has you know it's kind of a tour de force

 Let'S take a listen to the square wave [ Music ]. We move the pig pulse-width nearly gets to zero, not quietly nice, and they went through it a bit further, but that's white skinny. Now, let's take a listen to d. Co

 Let'S get on so let's come up to the filter. This is the section here this is for poll. At the moment you can switch it to palmo little bit. It'S quite rolling desk is now, but when you start to bring the harmonic, so you get those lovely singsong, it's a very musical filter

 So if we just come and take a look at see, what's going on here, we've got chorus into the rack amp into the delay into the whole reverb and that's just a simple, straightforward kind of route right. This one is event horizon. This is, I think, a Richard Devine patch, and we look at the effects here. We'Ve got this kind of shimmer algorithm, which is sending feedback from by the chorus and the dual pitch back into the chamber

DeepMind 12 Review - Exclusive Sonic LAB

Waldorf Pulse 2:  I could never get over the interface on this thing.  Decent sounding synth, but I just can't deal with grid-style interfaces.

Behringer Deepmind 12:  Bought mine because it was cheap.  It's kind of the "bastard child" in my current rig:  I don't dislike it enough to sell it and it's quite useful, I just avoid using it.

Behringer Pro-1:  I consider this a complement to the Bass Station 2:  it has its own tone that makes it distinct, and it has features the BS2 doesn't have in the sound chain.  

Studio Electronics Boomstar Mk.II 4072:  This was one of my bigger regrets.  Built like a tank and sounded great, but it was expensive and honestly the sound just didn't match what I was going for.  It gave an almost "70's" vibe

That next synth purchase isn't going to make you happy.

 Hopefully Behringer will perfect the Deepmind. It’s a great machine but it MUST be totally reliable.  Update - Had another Deepmind 12 delivered again it was faulty. It would not connect with my PC or iOS

-Novation Peak - looks good, I have a Bass Station 2 that I like the sound of. This seems tempting

-Oberheim Matrix 6 - this seems very appealing to me because I like the Oberheim sound, but they have gotten weirdly expensive for a synth with no hands on control. I really like the sound I’ve heard from this one in terms of filter character

-Prophet Rev 2 - Major appeal for me is the price point, the possibility of 16 voices, multi timbre (applies to peak as well), and the filter sound.

So I still have my piano up here, but now over here I'm going to go ahead and put some kind of bass. Maybe like a pick bass or here we go we'll do we'll do like a pick bass line so very fast.  We have two sliders one for the lower one for upper. This comes into play when we have a basic duel, so we might have an upper sound here and a lower sound here, either a split or have them actually layer together in a dual mode. So I could have maybe my piano and my string and that I can control the volume of each of them independently live, so very, very easy to do. Also we look up here

 Maybe like a pick bass or here we go we'll do we'll do like a pick bass line so very fast. We have, and maybe once again that base isn't loud enough. There we go now we have some, it's very quick, very easy to go ahead and create a duel and a split inside now, speaking of splits. If I wanted to change the split position where the notes actually go from one sound to another and here's this one right here so piano and then there's bass, if I press and hold the split button, I can go ahead and adjust and then put the split Point anywhere I want inside the key bit so very, very easy to do now

 Now, if we have it in performance mode, we can choose whether we want to create a dual very quickly, and I just press the dual button and you see automatically it told me the grand pianos on top and then, if I want to, I can go ahead And put the secondary the lower it may be here. I want to put a string so very quickly and let's go ahead and adjust the upper and lower like we said before. Here'S my upper, which is that piano and then I'll, bring in that string, which is the lower. So, as you can see, I can easily go in create a dual sound and control it live

Roland JUNO-DS - Basic Overview

 It'S got a mic level and the other reason why you busk with it it's battery-powered, so underneath you've got a little battery compartment and you can run it off batteries so really good. If you need to busk or say you're a choir director, you are the piano player in your rock choir and they've. Given you a gig in a marquee in the summer, this is great for you I'll just have a little flick through atsf. Let'S see what is so pretty cheesy, but pretty cool super whirly
