If you're looking for a monitor for photo and video editing and are on a budget, then the Acer Nitro XV272U KVbmiiprzx is a great choice. If you're going down in terms of price, there are a few trade-offs you have to make compared to the Dell S2722QC, and in this case, it has a lower 1440p resolution. It means that text doesn't look as sharp, but despite its budget price, it's still a great monitor for content creators. It has an sRGB picture mode with remarkable out-of-the-box accuracy as colors are accurate and aren't over-saturated, and even the white balance is nearly perfect. You won't have to calibrate it, and the monitor also has great Adobe RGB coverage, which is ideal if you work in that color space.

It even displays a wide range of colors in HDR, which is important if you edit HDR videos, and with its remarkable gradient handling, you won't see any banding either. It's also a fantastic choice if you often need to move your screen to share with a coworker or client, as it has outstanding ergonomics with a full 360-degree swivel range, so you can easily adjust the display.

If you play games from your Xbox Series X or PS5, or even if you have the older Xbox One or PS4, you can still find a few options for your needs for under $300.  The xb272 ukv boasts a respectable 170hz refresh rate and both g-sync and freesync support means compatibility with new nvidia or amd graphics cards. However, like most monitors, the g-sync compatible feature only works over a displayport connection. Do note that when we originally tested this monitor, we had compatibility issues with freesync over hdmi, but with the new firmware update to 4b0e, we no longer had any issues when playing video games. This is not like a 140 dollar gaming monitor or anything like the ones we looked at last time, but considering how much higher their costs would be to get this better panel technology, it's a larger display. Ah, I am I'm pretty pleased so far with the overall fit and finish now. I can't say that this is a perfect job that they've done of the the plastic housing here

The display seemed to have a yellow tint over it and I became incredibly frustrated that everything I did or tried didn't seem to work. After a few hours of google searches and youtube tech videos on how to change the color I figured out that I had to go into my NVIDIA Control Panel and under display you go to Change resolution. Then when you scroll down you will see color settings you can change. The default one caused the yellow tint on my monitor and then I changed it to the NVIDIA color setting and the yellow tint was gone! I'm so happy with the way the display looks now I made this review in hopes to help some1 having a similar issue

Unlike the Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75T, it has native G-SYNC support, ensuring a tear-free, consistent gaming experience, even when the frame rate from your source is fluctuating. It also has an IPS panel, resulting in much better viewing angles, so it's better for co-op gaming. Its stand has great ergonomics and multiple zones of RGB bias-lighting. It's exceptionally bright in SDR, so viewability isn't an issue even in a bright room. Sadly, it only supports VRR over DisplayPort, so you can't use those features with HDMI sources, including the Xbox Series S|X.

Overall, the Samsung monitor has a more diverse selection of features and better compatibility with other devices, so it's the better choice for most people. However, if you want to get the most out of your NVIDIA graphics card, then check out the Dell.

 At lower refresh rates, fast still is the best mode, even down to 60 Hz. Now, I'm not a big fan of only getting three overdrive modes, two of which are useless to make matters worse. But the remaining mode actually is optimal throughout the refresh rate range. So I'm totally okay with that
