Today I want to review this bass. It's a Yamaha TR-BX174 which I purchased from my home studio.

One day I was on amazon and I saw a great warehouse deal on a Yamaha TRBX174 so I bought it and pretty quickly I discovered that I love playing bass! I played bassoon and trombone about 30 years ago and I did tap dance for a few years so I guess bass and rhythm are just my thing. Playing bass has also made me much more interested in music theory, I used to HATE that :-).

Unless you have wrist issues, you should be good to go! Beginner gear is higher quality than it has ever been, so you can start off cheap if you want to go into this low-risk. I got a Yamaha TRBX174 with a Fender Rumble 100 and I'm loving it.
