I've been a Surefire nut for close to a decade now, with my first and most dependable light from them being a G2X Pro. It's been with me through thick and thin, dropped in puddles, hammered on doors, caught out in the rain, accidentally dropped in a dryer, left out in freezing cold temperatures, kept me from becoming a red stain on I-35 after I ran out of gas headed to San Antonio in the middle of the night and had to hoof it on a no shoulder stretch of highway to a gas station, and endured several Texas summers in my car, and it still works every bit as well as the day I bought it.

I have four G2X series flashlights from prior purchases. All are superb quality. I added a 5th, a mistake! The G2X Pro. The quality has dropped a lot. Best Overall EDC Light- Nitecore MT10C - Very capable light in a small package with an easy interface with red, low high and strobe- pretty much covers all the bases. Best Fun Light- Sofirn SC31 Pro - Its a glorified toy flashlight and I love it. Best Specific Use Light - Surefire G2X Pro -Its light, its durable its bright and I use it when I go hunting, fishing, working at night and if something goes bump in the night its the light I grab 100% of the time.

I’d also swap out the shitting Olight for a Surefire G2X pro(there’s some combos on Amazon that come with a Surefire light holster). I’d also recommend a concealed NIJ certified level 3 vest instead some panels. Also consider a basic Stop-The-Bleed class then find a Tactical Combat Casualty Care civilian version class then get a tourniquet, combat gauze, 3” Israeli T3 bandage and some compact Hyfin Chest seals.

1st time I looked at this light it sold for $150 at the military clothing store on base in 2016ish. that recently grew legs and needed replacing, it was much cheaper both in price and quality. the brand new replica barely lit as well as the old near its vanishing time

Streamlight is a great brand. They make a 2 battery version of the light you have now if you want brighter or longer run is nice also. The G2X pro is a good choice there
