So, so many salmon watches are far outside of my price range, but the Sinn seemed to be a good value. Its dial is stunning with guilloche patterns on the dial and within the subdials. The size, at 38mm, is welcome, as is the day and date complications. I love the combination of salmon and black on this one.

The sinn 356 caught my eye as it is 38.5mm, it looks great with any strap that gets put on and it is more affordable. I am lucky enough to find a seller that also hasSinn the german day as I think it looks better with a german watch. I think this watch is a good piece for 1 watch collection.

From left to right, Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, Sinn Flieger 356 GMT, and the Grand Seiko blue Snowflake (SBGA407). I have had the Sinn the longest (over 10 years) and I still love it. It does have a bracelet also, but I've never been a fan of bracelets. I like the contrast that a rubber or leather band provides.

Today I'd like to present my Sinn 356 UTC!. IMO this is a super cool sleeper tool watch.

If you're only going to have one watch, you could do a hell of a lot worse than a Sinn 356. Tossup between the copper and black dial for which is handsomer, but the black is more versatile, and it'll look (a) great on brown leather and (b) will go great with your Hugo Boss Hallowe'en outfit on black leather. Great on NATO as well, super low key on a grey perlon. Lovely watch.

Not a question, but I just ordered a Sinn 356 from WatchBuys today and I'm ecstatic. Been saving up for months. It's my first Sinn, my first four digit ($1,000) watch. So excited!

I know what it feels like to have a smaller wrist and I was in the same predicament regarding finding a smaller chrono. I ultimately went with the Sinn 356 but this looks very nice too. Enjoy!

38mm is the best millimetre so that just makes it another level better to me. I haven't had such a positive reaction to a watch since the first time I saw a Sinn 356.
