Seiko's Classic Mountaineering Watch Is Updated and Uniquely Compelling
Verdict: In the end, the details, specs and history of the Alpinist offer the experience and solid quality that many people expect from the Japanese powerhouse — but it's the copious personality that makes it stand out, not only in the wider world of watches but even within the brand's own catalog. Easy to recommend, the mix of refinement and tool watch vibe reinforce the Alpinist's status as a compelling classic.Learn More: Here

[SOTC] Don't see too many ladies' collections on here!
2. Seiko "Alpinist" (SARB017) - 39.5mm: I'd seen and read a lot of hype about this watch during the early months of my watch addic-- er, hobby. Everything about the design drew me onto the hype train. I absolutely love the color green, and the gold indices and cathedral hands match the green of the dial so well.

[Seiko] SNKL23J1 my first watch after learning how I got swindled by MVMT
Can't go wrong with Seiko. Just replaced my inexpensive, but worn out daily wear Seiko 5 with a Seiko Alpinist, which I love. I also have a 34 year old Seiko my wife gave me when we were dating back in the 80s. Great brand.
[Seiko] My first mechanical watch, the new Seiko Alpinist (plus a question)

I then discovered the 1959 Seiko Alpinist re-creation (SPB245J1) and was drawn to the simplicity, beauty, and throwback to history. The grey and cream dial versions are great, but I think the green is stunning.

[Seiko] The Blue Alpinist - my first automatic
I'm incredibly lucky to call this my first automatic watch. After years of wearing my trusty quartz Seiko (7N43-9070), I decided it was time to take a step further into the world of watches. As with any new interest of mine, I go on a research rampage. Lots of YouTube videos to learn about movements and crystals, reddit lurking, and many brand review articles later, I learned about the Seiko Alpinist line.
A Fine New Version of an Already Great Watch
After ordering, receiving and returning the wrong Alpinist (the cheaper SARB017), I discovered the watch I REALLY wanted was this one. This is a stunning watch; beautifully finished, perfectly sized, and perfect for casual or sporty wear with the Miltat Oyster bracelet I ordered for it. The leather ...

[Seiko] Prospex Alpinist
Just picked up the new 2020 Seiko Prospex Alpinist. So far I’m loving it. The quality feels much higher than its price tag. I was worried the metal bracelet might feel cheap but it’s definitely an improvement over past Seiko bracelets.
[Seiko] Got my first automatic watch!
I am absolutely loving this watch in and out! This is a start of something big and I have Seiko Alpinist next on my list and then Omega Speedmaster after that. Comments are highly appreciated. Thank you guys for inspiring me to go for an automatic watch.
