Seiko 5 Sports SRPD vs Seiko Alpinist

I sized it and it has perfectly balanced weight in conjunction with the watch, it feels solid though not entirely (who cares), and the clasp closes with an excellent click with nothing appearing loose nor giving the impression that it will snag onto anything or slowly open. The lume, as expected, is beautiful and is even in brightness all around the face. On the wrist the watch, again, has wonderful balance around the whole circumference of the wrist. The weight of the watch does not feel as if to swing in favor of any side of the wrist

The watch has run reliably and I have yet to have had any problems with it, so a very good watch to introduce me into the watch community! Everyone! Meet my seiko alpinist! She will stay in my collection for ever!.

. Initial impressions: The 5KX doesn't disappoint! The rich blue sunburst dial on the SRPD51 and applied indices are much more attractive than the original SKX's matte/printed dial, and while the bracelet and endlinks might be folded and hollow, the way it articulates is super comfortable, plus the smooth clasp functions very well. I'd even say that with the flat display caseback instead of the famous raised wave logo of the SKX, the 5KX sits nicer and more planted on the wrist

This Seiko Alpinist is the 2020 version of one having a near 20-year run, but this one has a new internal 6R35 movement with a 70-hour reserve. You can read the reviews for the SBDC091. It's a beautiful watch with an eye-catching emerald face, a new cyclops magnifier for the date at 3 o'clock, excellent luminescence, and it is simply attractive all around. And, if you get lost in the green forest, you can use this watch as a crude compass! I really like it

I purchased this with the idea of making it look like my dream watch. A grand seiko spring drive watch. And I've succeeded. This came originally with a blue diver bezel but removed for a lucius Atelier polished pilot bezel

5mm: I'd seen and read a lot of hype about this watch during the early months of my watch addic-- er, hobby. Everything about the design drew me onto the hype train. I absolutely love the color green, and the gold indices and cathedral hands match the green of the dial so well.

This great looking watch was exactly as shown and arrived as promised. Great price for a Seiko automatic.

The more you wear it the better it keeps time( 5-7 seconds per day). As an automatic watch(self winding) and Seiko enthusiast this is a great watch. I have a Grand Seiko and other brand higher end watches in my collection but I am very partial to Seiko. More bang for the dollar! You could spend three to seven times as much and get better accuracy but in all practical terms 5-7 seconds a day accuracy is more than you’ll ever need
