I'm running some Yamaha HS5's and an old Yamaha YST-FSW100 Subwoofer with the Scarlett 4i4 hooked up to my PC. I previously had them both hooked up to an internal Asus Xonar DX 7.1 Sound Card. **Issue:**. My issue comes as the Scarlett is so very clean and accurate (alongside the speakers) it's not very pleasant to listen to music through or watch movies.

The windows drivers are honestly kind of a dumpster fire - should anything by chance other than the DAW request a different sample rate, the thing crashes and glitches out; if you are going between general applications and DAW, it usually has to be restarted for it to be recognized by either. Aside from being a total pain in the ass, what I'm really concerned/apprehensive about is taking it to a live gig - the quirks are fine for just working on recordings at home, but this kind of behavior really does not inspire confidence.
