While I wouldn't recommend this interface for anyone on a super tight budget, those who can afford to invest will certainly be glad that they did.

So since i started engineering (2 years) ive been using my trustee Focusrite solo at the time is was all i needed and it worked for me. Never really used another interface unless i was at a studio or something so i just stuck with it. Recently I was finally able to purchase an apollo twin x and its a HUGE different like much more than i would have imagined. I noticed a big leap in quality and the plugins are crazy.

BEWARE!!! The Apollo Twin X Quad heats up very fast and only gets hotter as you use it, even if not using plug-ins. The case is designed as a heat sink - and it gets physically hot, not warm, but HOT to the touch. And it gets EXTREMELY hot when using plug ins -- over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. As for a...

Focusrite’s Clarett interfaces are really solid. That said, I’m huge fan of UA and would recommend my setup, which is an Apollo twin or x4 with a Clarett OctoPre ADAT expansion for your synths.

I love this interface! The only thing I dislike is that I get crackling audio on Windows 10. There's no guide to fixing this issue especially for people running their PCs on AMD. If they were able to fix this problem, I'd give it a 5 star.

If you want lots of effects at your disposal for near zero-latency feedback while recording, the Apollo twin is a must have. I do primarily hip hop and r&b, and my clients being able to hear autotune live and instant while I’m able mixing at the same time is essential.

I love the interface, it works great. The sound quality is incredible, but the only thing that need is to provide thunderbolt cable because we pay about $1000 for this interface, and we have to buy the thunderbolt cable.
