On the whole, it is a solid effort, although occasionally when I was shooting against a bright background, I ended up looking a bit soft, so to speak....

This kind of value is enough for the Fan Edition to earn our full recommendation.

Last October, I decided to trade in my Pixel 4 for a Galaxy S20 FE thinking that it would be a faster more enjoyable phone, and also I had battery issues with the 4. Sure the phone felt quick and snappy at the beginning but after a couple months, the phone was feeling very sluggish. I think the culprit of this is actually OneUI's heavy focus on "extra features" on top of Android. Bottom line is I wasn't happy.

Same - no cons from me. No gap, it works perfectly for everything I need to do with my phone.

You can argue about the Galaxy S20 FE being more potent in this regard, but look at the price delta too - at the moment, it's around €200 more expensive than the Mi 10T Pro (we're comparing to the 5G model since the Xiaomi also has 5G). If the improvements in that area, along with the OLED screen, are worth that much to you, then that's a great option too.
