Since you didn't name any budget I am going to categorize more phones that I think are worth it. So, first there are the entry level ones: Samsung Galaxy A51 or A71 (but if u want to get the A51, I'd rather wait for the A52 to see what it offers). Then come the mid rangers, these usually have a pretty nice price to performance ratio, and use a Snapdragon 730 to a 750G which is 5G capable:.

The Moto G8 Power, Moto G8 Stylus, Samsung A51, Pixel 4a are good ones at a reasonable prices. The Iphone SE is a good value phone too. Local Best Buy liked all these phones, but their favorite was Pixel. By the way, Best Buy has good prices on unlocked phones.

I now own a Samsung A51, and with the price that I bought it for (€339/$411/£300), it now kind of feels like a rip-off. The phone is slow, stutters or freezes way too often and it also has shut down on its own when the battery was around 60%. Everyone in my family has an iPhone and I never heard them complaining about any stutters or freezes because those just don't happen at all. Anyway, I am aiming to get an iPhone 12.
