Revel M16

The bang for buck option I always recommend is revel m16 or elac dbr62 (always used for me) and a Rhythmik L12. Revel for larger spaces or louder listening, since I believe they can handle more power before distorting than the elac.

Hell, the KEF is just a flat out better speaker than the ADAM (it's ERDI is flatter, meaning more room friendly, easier to EQ, which at the end of the day translates into more neutrality). Same goes for the Revel M16. Someone might bring up active crossovers, and they do have on paper advantages, but I would bet money that no one in a blind test would be able to tell the difference between a system with active crossovers and a system with well implemented passive crossovers.

Yamaha A-S301 amplifier.

The rest on some good speakers, like Wharfedale Diamond 12.2, Polk R200, Elac Debut DRB62, maybe even Revel M16 if you can break the budget by $100 or so.

The Revels would be my pick.
