Olight S2R Baton II

I couldn't convince myself to spend $70 on the olight S2R Baton but I wanted a nice purple light so I ordered this convoy S2 plus. The first time I ordered from gearbest but after a month or so it never shipped so I had to cancel and ordered it from AliExpress. First impressions are pretty positive. The light itself is great, very bright and good and easily rechargeable battery. I am however frequently frustrated as the pocket comes off very easily aswell. I own an Olight S2R Baton II. Have owned it and used it every day for at least a year and a half. Bought it from recommendations. Has worked every time, hasn't blown up on me, I have not had a reason to question why I bought it.

After a month of having it and hardly charging the light. It lasted a long while. Afterwards of charging a full charge, it would turn on and randomly shut off. Sometimes 5 minutes or sometimes immediately after turning off like it was low on charge, even though it was fully charged.

I would highly recommend something like an Olight Seeker 2 Pro with the dock, or the S2R II. Even S1RII. I have found by-and-large that despite our objective grumbling, Olights are often perfect flashlights for non-techy or non-flashlight-caring people. Thrunite has a few options as well, T1/ T2 that are all USB chargeable and simple.

If you want a small durable light with an external charge oh, this is the light for you! Having used it at work, it is a bright light that can actually cast at a decent distance but doesn't hold a strong beam outside of the distance.
