My current phone is an LG G8, and I hate the bloatware and crazy bugginess. I want to get something that'll just work better and be more stable. The OnePlus looks awesome, but after hearing a lot about poor update stability and long-term bugginess, I'm probably not going to go with it. The iPhone and Pixel would both have few bugs and all that, which is great, but the specs and such are definitely good, but the Galaxy S21 has some really enticing features/design.

The byproduct is an improvement, in the most inconsequential of ways, over the G7 ThinQ. Ultimately, it’s an incremental upgrade that offers better battery life, a better screen, a faster processor, and more RAM.

This week, my LG G8 ThinQ black-screened for good. Tried my best to revive it, but no luck. This one only lasted me about a year and a half, which is disappointing but not out of the ordinary for me - I guess I must be pretty hard on phones (or I'm picking the wrong ones). I am planning on getting a new phone tomorrow, and am having out-of-character thoughts of getting an iphone...

We like that the device remains cool under sustained load, although power consumption is higher than we would have liked.

After looking I think I'm between the LG G8 thinQ, since I really liked my G6, and the Oneplus 7t and the s10, since I can find them all unlocked with 128gb on amazon for $300, though I'm leaning towards the G8 since I can get it new for 300.

I use an LG G8, and it sounds fabulous with decent IEM's. I plan to use the G8 until it dies, and depending on when, I may look for another LG to buy.

After running into memory issues with my 3 year old G7, I decided to upgrade to the G8 rather than spend 5 times that amount on flagship through a 3-year contract with my wireless carrier.
