Sorry i'm just curious, what exactly do you do to open and close laptops so many times?

My Lenovo Thinkpad from nearly a decade ago hasn't been working too well for me lately, sometimes struggling with video calls and buffering videos. Also, it's graphics card isn't good enough to run a few games I'd like to play (Civ 6, Ori & the Blind Forest, Journey). Not sure if that's specifically something I'll have to look for or if all modern computers will be up to the task. I'm in the US, looking for something <1K.

The worst thing I have ever bought, the mouse has a life of its own, it moves randomly and whatever I want to click it skips, the battery only lasts 20 to 30 minutes tops, I bought a new battery thinking it would solve the problem but it didn't,

For that price they're worth it however you can also find 30 series ThinkPads for the same price and that point you might as well skip the 20 series models and go straight for a 30 series model. 30 series ThinkPads (X230, T430, T530, W530) are sold at about the same price of the 20 series models but are one generation newer (3000 series CPU instead of 2000 series) and introduce USB 3.0 (20 series models only have it on the expensive i7 motherboards...).

It was delivered quickly. But, now after about two months, it has no audio output even everything looks ok. Its hard drive was reconfigured, so you can't use factory restoration for a clean Windowns XP. Other parts works well.

Great laptop from a hardware stand point but I feel the referb guys could have put a little more work into making sure it had drivers.

I got it today and it is very bad. In comparison to T450s: awful keyboard, disgusting plastic case (not pleasant Magnium), sharp edges after the keyboardAnd the most bad thing is a cooler. In the battery menu you have only 3 power-save options with 3 FIXED fan speed values. If you want to get maximum perfomance, you will get maximum-speed fan, and also temperatures are strange.

2015 and it's still a great laptop. If you don't have to have the latest and greatest, old Thinkpads are one of the best computing bargains out there. I actually paid $60 for mine, and after upgrading the ram, replacing the keyboard and adding a smaller used SSD, I'm into it for right around $100 An...
