The display on this laptop is very straightforward. It&rsquo;s an IPS panel with a full HD (1,920-by-1,080-pixel) native resolution.  Screen resolution is great and videos playing look like a TV screen. Small, obivously, but compact, lightweight and a fast machine. Would recommend!

 Again, not even as loud as my old laptop so it doesn't bother me at all.  WEIGHT: This is so lightweight! My old one was a bit heavy and clunky, so I appreciate the fact this is so light. The downside of that is that the casing does feel cheap. Like it might not survive getting dropped on the carpet

My Lenovo Thinkpad from nearly a decade ago hasn't been working too well for me lately, sometimes struggling with video calls and buffering videos. Also, it's graphics card isn't good enough to run a few games I'd like to play (Civ 6, Ori & the Blind Forest, Journey). 2015 and it's still a great laptop. If you don't have to have the latest and greatest, old Thinkpads are one of the best computing bargains out there. I actually paid $60 for mine, and after upgrading the ram, replacing the keyboard and adding a smaller used SSD, I'm into it for right around $100  And with the latest (and free) version of Linux Mint, I basically haven't found anything this computer can't do. It handles light image editing just fine, it browses the web as fast as any other computer, it plays HD video without the slightest stutter, the keyboard is the best ever put on a laptop, and even the original battery still holds an adequate charge
