All right. So this is a pretty solid system overall.

I would recommend this [**Lenovo Legion 5i - it has a 10'th gen Intel processor, ~~~GTX 1650 TI~~ GTX 1650 graphics card, big SSD and room for an HDD, 2 memory slots, over 6.5H battery life, 120 Hz display, good peripheral port selection: 1 X LAN, 1 X USB-C 3.2, 4 X USB 3.2, and a Backlit Chiclet keyboard, RGB LED. This laptop has excellent thermals, great upgrade options, and ok build quality.

So I’ve been comparing the IdeaPad 5 Pro (5800h w/ iGPU) which was $920 USD and the Legion 5i Pro (11800h w/ RTX 3050) which was $1050 USD. I wanted to love the IdeaPad because of the lighter weight and much better battery life. However, the Legion just feels like a much better quality device for what I think is in the same ballpark price.

This was my first gaming laptop and after a lot of research i just found out that the legion 5i version runs at a wimpy 80 watts- This rtx 2060 cards are designed to get a TDP of 115W. Lenovo blocked this rtx 2060 compromising HUGE performance gains.
