Great deal for a low-spec gaming laptop.
I got this laptop for $650 dollars. At first I thought it might be a scam or something because there's only like 10 reviews. But no, it's actually completely legit and, in my opinion, it was an amazing deal for what I paid. The laptop itself was sealed band new in the original unopened box from Leno...

Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3i review
Thermals can get hot to 95 and 75 degrees Celsius in the CPU and GPU respectively but no signs of thermal throttling. Upgradeability - Opening the Laptop reveals two SODIMM slots with the first one using an 8GB DDR4 3200MHZ by Samsung. There is also a slot for a 2.5" drive bay that you can use for a cheap hard drive or another SSD or you could unscrew the drive bay to reveal a slot for another M.2 SSD.

The IdeaPad Gaming 3i 15IMH05 represents a well-rounded gaming laptop in the entry-level segment that offers a good price-performance ratio.A 512 GB NVMe SSD (M.2 2242) ensures a fast system
So basically I got the lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with the intel i5 10300h and gtx 1650. But today I realised that my games haven't been using the gpu at all and rather used the igpu. Thats probably the reason why this laptop got hot. Now i did a lotta stuff i could to get this to atleast switch to the dedicated gpu but none worked out.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3. Processor:. AMD Ryzen 5-5600H.
A strong processor and fast SSD don’t make up for a weak GPU
In terms of performance, the laptop started to chug when I pushed its 8GB of RAM to the limits with too many Chrome tabs and Affinity Photo projects. Lenovo confirmed to me that both the RAM and M.2 SSD storage can be upgraded by unscrewing the bottom shell of the laptop, so at least you can remedy this issue yourself if you choose

But it’s hard to say if the benefits are worth around $ 70 or so over Acer’s Nitro 5, especially if you’re on a tight budget. In that case, the Nitro might be the way to go depending on your needs.. Let me know what you thought about Lenovo’s IdeaPad Gaming, 3 gaming laptop down in the comments. Is it something you’d consider And if you’re new to the channel get subscribed for future laptop reviews and tech?
