This is a decent knife for the money. Out of the box it is sharp BUT that edge didn't last at all. I am taking it to my sharpener to see if he can put a better edge on it. This isn't uncommon, even my more pricey Dexter's or Bubba blades have the same issue

Given other reviewers, I expect this to be very sharp. Mine was not. Also one side was Not beveled and sharpens as much as the other. On my first use I tore up a sea bass trying to filet it. I had to get out a Wet stone and improved the edge.

Comes very dull but sharpens up and holds an edge. Rusted after first use despite filleting and rinsing in fresh water. Decent for the price but I would not buy again. Would rather spend an extra $10 and buy something nicer.

This knife is awsome, but when it's dull it takes time to try to sharpen it back to normal. The knife gets dull very quick. It works to fillet but have to sharpen it 5 times on 1 fish.

Decent edge, good grip, but the description says it won't rust and sure enough, one round in the dishwasher and it's got rust on the bevel. There's better knives in this price range.

A pretty good knife. It feels good in the hand and has a flexible blade but it won’t stay sharp at all. I filet a fish and have to sharpen it again. I sharpen after every fish.

Not very sharp out of the box, however, I did not try to sharpen further on my ceramic sticks. I guess you get what you pay for.
