Total novice trying to put together a sound system for a disabled client

Excellent, excellent speakers with built in streaming and should have most of the connections you need. If too pricey the Kef LSX are similar but around $1k leaving room for cd players and cassettes. Honestly, a streaming service woudl probably give him all the music he has on cassettes and cds at higher quality.

Settled with an all in one package, coupled with a small sub as the speakers are used for both TV connectivity, and music. Speakers: KEF LSX.

Great Sound, Poor Connectivity

I really wanted to love these - for their size and price point they have a great soundstage/imaging and I'm not sure you can do much better given the constraints as far as sound goes. A little on the bass-heavy side for me and a little warm/colored but really for their size they are quite impressive...

KEF Q550 First impressions

First impressions coming from the KEF LSX Wireless is the volume that they produce. Not literally the sound volume, but the way they fill up a room with the depth of the sound they produce. Even at low volume they give a warm and deep feel to their sound. I listened to them without the sub, and they have a good amount of natural bass, however the Subwoofer compliments everything quite well.

I can't believe the difference the kef lsx has made. It sound phenomenal with the dual sb1000 pro subs words cant describe it. Let me know what you guys think.

Almost perfect... frustratingly bad remote and app

My nearfield setup at 19! Happy to be part of the audiophile community

Gear: Kef LSX and JL f112 V1 (and lcdi4 iems with btr5). Super happy with how my setup has evolved over the years! The kef's were my first insight into the world of semi - high end audio and im just loving it! The imaging is second to none (except for when i had a pair of genelec 8040's, those were a bit better), and with the jl sub the system comes alive.
