Decent knife, but much better out there

The knife is very sharp and comfortable, but the blade is really thick and stiff which prevents it from doing well for boning. It’s worked well so far for trimming large cuts of beef and pork but is not as adaptable as I was hoping.

Last Black Friday I bought a set of Wusthof Classic knives on sale and they've basically ruined me as far as knives go - I really like them...but I'm also not willing to pay for them all the time haha

 And I haven't had it that long either, only used it a dozen times or so, so can't say much on durability.  It's a decent knife for the money, but I suspect the Victorinox 5" chef's knife is better as they generally have a nice thin blade.

Not the Knife for Me & Not Very Sharp

 The blade is very sharp & sturdy. I have been using it daily for 2 weeks in a professional kitchen. After two weeks of daily use, I had to finally run it across a steel to hone it. I feel it holds an edge very well

First off, this is not a Henkel, Wustof, or Shun quality knife. That said, it is an exceptional knife especially for the price. This is made by the same company that does make Shun. I would consider this blade on par with a Forshner or Dexter Russell

 While it is not as refined as a more expensive knife such as a Shun or Wustof, it is a great inexpensive everyday banger, and if I lose it or drop it, no big deal.

 The hammered pattern looks nice. The handle feels good in hand. The blade is very sharp & sturdy. I have been using it daily for 2 weeks in a professional kitchen

Great knife for for a great price.

 I have been using it professionally for a couple of weeks and it is very sharp, light, and fairly comfortable. The handle is nice, with a full tang and riveted scales, however; it is somewhat smooth for a knife with an NSF certification. I would like a more grippy handle personally because I handle a lot of slippery food and my gloved hands get wet when processing, making the handle a little slippery for my gloves. Overall a knife with a sharp edge that holds up under heavy use

I bought this knife because I didn't want to spend $100 dollars on a name brand chefs knife. I'm now regretting that decision because this knife is so bad, I'm going to end up buying the $100 knife anyways to replace this one. My biggest complaint is how thin the blade is, I can't even cut through cheese without it bending and becoming unsafe to use. Additionally, the blade does not stay sharp at all, and after just 4 days of use, I was struggling to cut tomatoes
