JLC Reverso Watch: Is It Worth It? (Honest Review)
Among luxury timepieces, one that’s highly regarded by enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike is the Reverso by Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre. As the JLC Reverso watch comes with a hefty price tag, we think it warrants a close examination of its construction, performance, and overall quality, so you...
[Cartier] Basculante 2390, can your watch do this?
The dial has a guilloche pattern cut and blued hands. I think the watch is very nicely proportioned, versatile and pairs nicely with different straps (20mm lug), waiting on a nice taupe one from a guy in Tokyo at the moment but this saffiano leather one from A Collected Man I had lying around will do nicely for now!. Winding is a little tricky and sensitive but this is not a daily wear watch for me anyway so I don't mind.

[Jaeger-LeCoultre] My grail!
After careful consideration, I went to my local AD and tried it on along with other Reverso models (duo face, blue tribute and burgundy tribute) but I just kept coming back to the classic single-faced Reverso. There's just something about that blank face that gets my attention. It might be the fact that it looks odd enough that it looks good. Mind you, I'll most likely never get it engraved.
[Jaeger-LeCoultre] Moonphase + Date
I had my eye on this watch for a while because I loved how it looked and luckily I found a listing local this week. I met up with the seller right away and made the deal happen. He was the first owner, and told me this was his first watch, ever. I was surprised to hear that someone’s first watch would be a Jaeger-LeCoultre but the story was: his mentor used to be a well-known watch dealer at the time, and when found out his mentee (the seller) didn’t own any watches, he gifted him this watch on spot.
[Jaeger-LeCoultre] The Reverso and it’s caliber 822
The reason why I really love this caliber is that it is perfectly shaped to the iconic case of a Reverso, unlike the newer automatic movements that you can find on some Reverso models. There is something so enjoyable with a watch being well thought and designed from beginning to end with a movement that compliments the case and is well proportioned.

[Collection] Ramblings on a watch collection
I am stunned by the quality of this watch for the price. The movement and dial are both phenomenal.
[JLC] Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris, very nice
My watch is probably the most subdued watch among the line, with a simple three hand configuration, and a business-like black dial. This same exact watch is offered with a bright blue dial as well, however I prefer the more versatile black.
[JLC] date night with your mom
Well, uhh, this watch is pretty thin. Comfortable.

[SOTC] Watch Collection
Turns out to be the best indeed. I wear this every night to bed as it's comfortable, has the just the right light brightness in a pitch black room, and an alarm with good volume. Quite fond of this piece and has the most wrist time (albeit asleep). Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic Small Seconds - Was looking for a rectangular watch and decided on the Reverso.
[Three watch collection] After many years on this watch collecting journey I have simplified my very large collection of 18 watches down to only 3.
My dress/casual is my Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classic Medium small seconds. That JLC was a tough one to buy with that price tag. Ouch. I'm resisting temptations of buying more watches and so far so good.
