Normally what you see in this price range are curved VA panels which perform a lot worse, cheaper TN options, or the occasional older model like the P...

But yeah, other than that, I'm pretty happy with the monitor, especially for the price range that it's in. HP is a good brand.

So, yeah, the X27Q is offering a lot for its price that is hovering around $300 US at the time of making this review.

Their refresh rate was between 60-75HZ. Accidentaly when i was looking at the other monitors I came across HP X27Q on sale so i decided to try it since it has all perks that i have been looking for expect 165 HZ refresh rate AND HOLY FUCK. IT IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. Why premium dell monitor which is twice as expensive has 60HZ when it makes such a big difference.

I bought this during the treasure truck deal and it’s an amazing monitor for the price. Gsync works great, colors are vibrant, and it gets 165hz no problem with the supplied cable. Hdr is a bit weak and I would not purchase this monitor if you’re expecting a great hdr experience but that’s very hard...

Don't buy this monitor. The response times are incredibly slow, and this leads to nasty dark level smearing that ruins picture quality in motion. The stand is also tilt only and lacks height adjustment. The Samsung Odyssey G5A ($300 bestbuy), Dell S2721DGF or HP X27Q are better options.
