Gretsch Catalina Club with 24" kick. Very lightly used. Added Evans G2s and an EMAD head and it sounds huge. 😍 Also, iNDE mounts. Amazing products!

Nice warm tone, similar to a birch sound. Versatile, single tom post has a 7/8's accessory hole, so can mountain an extra cymbal arm. Lightweight kit, good for gigging, recording etc. Very happy with it. Sounds as good as any kit to me and affordable.

Kit is a Gretsch Catalina Maple 7 piece (in it's entirety) and I have a multitude of Meinl cymbals plus a 17" Sabian crash!

Beautiful set up! I've had 3 bop kits in my time: Gretsch Catalina, GMS Maple and Yamaha 8000, and despite being the cheapest, the Catalina was the best sounding by a long way. Such a great tone! Wonderful kits.

If you want a specific recommendation, the Gretsch Catalina Club drum line is great! I've advised a couple other students to get those, and the love 'em. These drum brands, along with many others, make more high quality instruments as well.
