Gigabyte G34WQC
The Gigabyte G34WQC is a great budget gaming monitor with an ultrawide screen. It has a 34 inch screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio, providing incredible immersion in video games and plenty of space for multitasking. It's well-suited for bright and dark rooms, as it gets bright enough to fight glar...

Coming from an AOC 3440x1440p 100hz 35" 1800R ultrawide (Don't buy AOC, they don't stand behind their warranty and make sure you get Asurion Insurance, they refunded the full price when AOC left me with my pants down) Tested on DOOM E and COD MW Pros: THE COLORS!!! Oh so beautiful, the buttery smoot...

[Other] Datacolor SpyderX Pro Colorimeter | $169.99-$70 = $99.99
I set it up with DisplayCal and am very happy. I have the Gigabyte G34WQC that I never got around to calibrating despite purchasing about 6 months ago on that sweet $300 sale. I finally did so and the difference was night and day in terms of proper color, contrast, and brightness. It's really difficult to tell when a display is off without comparing it to a properly calibrated one but when looking at the display with and without the calibrations on it's a clear benefit.
[Monitor] Best Buy - $399 (MSRP) GIGABYTE - 34" LED UltraWide WQHD FreeSync Monitor
Gigabyte G34WQC, VA 144hz. Figured I'd post this if anyone is looking for one since Best Buy is a brick and mortar so returns are easy if you don't like it. Seems to have been in stock for a little bit.
Just Buy it
This is the one. If you’ve been searching for hours for a 1440p ultra wide that’s not over $1,000 this is the one to get. I’ve searched for hours trying to find the right one and finally settled on this one. I’m so glad I did. There’s no reason to spend the $800 on the other monitors that are slight...

I have finally ascended.
I went from a 1080p TN panel (atleast it was 144hz) to the Gigabyte G34WQC. Been using it for a week now, and I must say it’s a whole different experience playing FPS games and mainly racing games.

This review is for the G34WQC 34". Provided a few pictures for context. Looks great at night and deals with glare very well. 11 inch laptop for size comparison. I was tempted to give this review 4 stars, but then I realized that the few issues I have with the monitor do not out weight the value it p...
