This grinder comes in at a really good value as well. Definitely some of the nicer options you will get for the price.

However, you will need to pair it with an espresso grinder which will bring the total price up to about $1000 with a hand grinder or $1200 with an electric grinder. If that is too expensive, consider a Breville Bambino (base model, not Plus) and a Eureka Mignon Notte/Manuale grinder. It will cost about the same as a Specialista and be a much better setup.

I've been using this grinder almost every day for about 6 months now. It's a good burr grinder, but my complaint is that I could produce equivalent grind quality with another grinder a third of the price. I can't speak for the Graef personally but it you can it might be worth saving up more for a higher end espresso grinder like the Eureka Mignon, which has a good range of grinds for espresso and reputation. That way it'll future proof any upgrades to your espresso machine. Other option would be to get an espresso focussed hand grinder but electric is worth the extra for less effort in the mornings!.

I'd get the Bambino or Gaggia Classic and a proper espresso grinder. The 1zpresso JX pro or maybe the Mignon Notte.

It takes forever to dial in your grind size. But once you get it, it's perfectly consistent! And it's quiet! But- You literally have to figure out all the buttons/mechanisms yourself.
