Good quality where it counts, but not for everything
The media could not be loaded. This is a 83USD grinder, i.e. it's not cheap, but it's also not the 200USD+ super fancy ones. All parts that matter have good enough fit and machining to do a good job and last a while. All the parts that don't have noticeably lesser finish, clearance/fit, etc. machini...

Finally, a manual burr grinder that really works!
This works, easily and quickly, after others did not. Previously tried nice-looking but cheap stainless device with no manufacturer name. Easy to use, but would not grind coffee beans. Took forever to get enough to make one cup espresso. Next, tried mid-priced Hario Skerton Pro from Amazon. Shape wa...

Excellent value overall
The grinder arrived in a lovely box with a certification, warranty card, instruction manual, cleaning brush, and carrying case. The English in the documents is not quite perfect, but is easy enough to understand. The grinder itself is surprisingly hefty and feels solidly built despite a number of pl...

A really good entry-level grinder that won't break the vank
I actually bought this particular item as a gift, but having gotten one for myself earlier, I love it. It easily beats electric blade grinders in the same price point, to the point where I don't even want to use anything else. My only minor complaint is that the provided instructions use poor Englis...

First time Aeropress buyer - whole or ground beans?
A nice entrance grinder is a Timemore C2, which costs about 60$, depending on your location (I can buy it now from AliExpress for 45$ including delivery). If it's too much for you, then just gift a sole Aeropress with ground beans, and if your someone would like, one can buy the grinder later. In general – yeah, freshly grinded beans are significantly tastier. Upd: consider also kitchen scales, better with 0.1 accuracy.

NOT for "espresso/turkish" - deceitful description, and impossible to contact seller
Buyer beward - it's more a grinder for French press/drip. Order only if you're willing to wait and have no customer support whatsoever - I don't think they'll ever reply! I'm stuck with this product and probably will never get my $80 back

Superb machine whose quality and finish will exceed your expectations.
Simple to use (no fiddly bits) and works like a dream. Very stable mechanism and smooth action. Grinds coffee with perfect consistency (16 clicks on the adjuster works in my Brikka pot). Filled to capacity it grinds the exact amount needed for a 6-cup moka pot, and takes less than a minute to grind....

Timemore C2 Review: Is It Really THAT Good?
The Final Verdict The Timemore Chestnut C2 is a great manual grinder for beginners who want solid results across a broad range of grind settings without a premium price tag. This hand crank grinder will have your back from medium to coarse grind size needs and has the potential to perform a little more consistently at fine settings with the Titanium burr upgrade.

Due to my dislike for the pour over, I went to the clever dripper with fond memories of my previous immersion brews. Over that time I went from pre ground coffee. To fresh beans using a blade grinder. Then a timemore c2.
TIMEMORE Chestnut C2 Manual Coffee Grinder Review
I really like this hand grinder, from the build quality to the overall user experience. I think it’s great for a budget grinder in this category. This Timemore Chestnut C2 is an excellent option for someone who wants to upgrade from your ceramic burr grinder to a stainless steel one
