 It'S pretty much. No questions asked. If you break the blade you break the sheath. You break any part of you know what comes with the knife, you return it and they will either repair it or they will replace it and send it back

 Of course, i've got a whole bunch of 550 cord, that's been cobra knotted and in here let's see if you can see that right here you can see the little silver thing i have. An emergency sewing kit that has a three-ply waxed linen thread. A large sail needle so that way i can do large repairs on any piece of equipment. I have, and this little piece of velcro just helps hold things into place and also gives me something to bundle any of the cordage up

 The the the feel of the grip is fantastic, the design of the blade, the angle of the blade is almost a drop point blade, and it really reminds me a lot of a small uh french reproduction uh trade knife that i used when i was in reenacting And i used it as basically a patch knife and uh for my muzzle loaders but um yeah. This is an absolutely fantastic little knife and it gets very, very high, scores it's as far as what it is, what it was designed uh to be through my seven plus years of using it. It definitely gets a 10 out of 10. and i'm looking forward to using this for many many many many more years

ESEE Izula II Knife Review; After More Than 7 Years Of Use!

 It holds an edge so long as you keep it honed, and its relatively lightweight but surprisingly sturdy. If you think large knives are too ridiculous but small knives can't cut a lot of jobs, this is a great middle ground. The sheath locks up strong and stays concealed -so long as you don't stretch back with it around your neck-. The vertical scout carry option is my preferred choice of carry for this knife, and the belt clip keeps it secure against your belt so you have it when you need it

..! So what do I think of the izula.? It'S very well made and light, but it's a little small for my main outdoor, fixed blade

 It features a drop point flat ground blade like found on a lot of esees, and this one is made from powder coated 1095 Carbon steel.. The powder coat has been applied to keep it from rusting and to blend into desert surroundings. So you have to buy another one when you lose it

 For an outdoor knife. I, like a 3-4 inch blade size as a good general purpose. Knife. The Esee 3 seems like it would be a good starting size for me

  So I couldn't keep it, I had to return it. I feel like trying to remove it from the sheath would possibly result in me cutting myself it's so tight.  I'd probably consider an ESEE product in the future if they made a better sheath, or if it wasn't for daily carry.

 But you definitely don't need a paracord a paracord handle, but it definitely makes a little bit sturdier in the hand little something bigger to hold on to, because it is a pretty small knife meant to be a neck knife. The outline of the actual blade, like you know, just take all this extra plastic off

 This is a workhorse of a knife, it has come sharp, friction lock, sheath. I think I forgot to mention that was going over the sheet, but it's a friction lock like I said because it's meant to be hung. Um, hanged, tip up. We found a piece of wood stay stay there find a piece of wood

Not Practical.

Size matters.

Knocked off a star for pricing...$20 too expensive for what it is considering my Ka-bar was about the same price and is 10 times the knife

The sheath seems to be well made but I don't think I'll be wearing this around my neck when mountain biking. A fall at just the right angle would probably have this knife piercing the sheath and my chest cavity. I don't plan on finding out.

Would I suggest this knife? Well, I'd say if you expect some uber $50 knife that glows blue when Orcs are around, pass. If you can deal with spending $50 for a great $30 knife then go for it.

If you do wrap the handle, the instructions give you a good start but at the end of the wrap you may be scratching your head on how to finish it. I loosened up the left side final loop and passed the right tag end trough it and loosened up the right side final loop and passed the left tag end through it and snuged it down real good. Total perfection. When you get there, you'll see what I mean

Sold neck knife

This is the best knife I've ever own.

  Sharpness out of the box left something to be desired when tested on cardboard boxes (and the rough texture on the powder coat didn't help either) but a couple of minutes work with a ceramic rod and the blade is now sharp enough for my purposes.  All in all, an excellent piece of kit that works very well in my EDC rotation.

 It was surprisingly easy to strip, 2 hours immersed in acetone and I was able to peel the coating off in sheets with my fingernail. I then took some course sandpaper to the blade to remove the residue. I originally intended to go over that with a buff and some jeweler's rouge to remove the scratches but I'm not unhappy with the surface as it is so I might just go straight to the onion patina and save myself a step.  I was surprised though that the powder coat is so easily removed
