Cold steel mini tack: you can withdraw while holding your chicken alright y'all today, i'm bringing you a review of the cold steel mini tack. Mini minitak is a series of small knives made by cold steel and, if you've been looking at these guys and are kind of on the fence about it, i'm just going to go ahead and say: pull the trigger on them. They'Re great knives. You get a banging knife at a banging price and you really can't go wrong

 It'S a pretty thick blade for its size, so that helps with the overall strength, there's always the tonto version as well. Most of the time, i prefer the bowie style or the clip point, but the tontos are also amazing in their own right depends on my mood for the day. What i feel like caring this knife is a great blend of utility and tacticalness. I feel confident in carrying this as a tool of self-defense, there's no way you're going to drop this blade or somebody's going to be able to take it out of your hands

 Carry the secure egg sheath is nice and tight. It really holds the blade inside there. I'M never in fear that this will come out accidentally. So it's a great job on the sheath

 What i feel like caring this knife is a great blend of utility and tacticalness. I feel confident in carrying this as a tool of self-defense, there's no way you're going to drop this blade or somebody's going to be able to take it out of your hands. Cold steel sends these things out. Razor sharp and you can make some surprisingly large slashes with very little effort as a utility blade

 I basically can’t put the sheath on my person at all because it just flops around in my pocket and it is impractical as a neck knife. Until I find a decent way to actually carry the thing I’m only giving it 3 stars. Up your sheath game, Jfc.

I want to compare it against, is another neck knife that i have here: the sierra, the crkt spew. So there we go, there's there's how big that is and then actually i want to compare it against a cold steel, fixed blade that i love, but don't really have room for here here against here it is against the uh srk

Cold Steel Mini -Tac Bowie Review (Mini Tactics, Big Value?)

The sheath is too big. It does bot need to be as big as it is, they could have designed it to be more compact and it would be a more concealable blade. Other than that the knife itself it outstanding. But the sheath is a major downfall to the total package

 Oh yeah, it feels super sharp, it's snagging on my nail. Oh yeah, real sharp. Yeah, handy little handy little fixed blade at 20 bucks, what can you get for 20 bucks? A couple of Starbucks drinks, that's about it. There's no thing to attach your knife to anything, but I did pick up, I haven't got them out here, but I did pick up some of the cold steel plastic attachments so I can hook it on the belt and go cross draw, which is what I like to do, but yeah, so you could attach it to whatever you want

 So while I'm opening this up with the SRM Tanto, pretty nice little knife, you guys might want to check out Freedom Frog Gear. Freedom Frog Gear. New channel, he's a great guy, he's got some awesome awesome knives, some real nice stuff, and this week he's doing, he's showing a bunch of cold steel. So if you're into your cold steel and you like awesome knives and freedom and that kind of thing, you may want to check him out

 Not sure what the material is on the handle here, it feels like that Grivex stuff that cold steel use, might not be that. Let's see what it says here, because they give all the stuff on the box, I like that. So the blade length is three and five eighths of an inch, overall is six and seven eighths, and the handle is three and a quarter, and we said it's 8CR13MOV and it weighs 2.9 ounces and the blade thickness 2

The knife is good. Sharpness isnt the best out of the box but if you're into knives sharpness is something you can fix easily. Plastic scales with brick like texturing. Its a $17 knife, you get the material you pay for but in all the knife is really good for the money

 Now we get into the problems. Anyone who's going to actually carry this should probably get a new sheath. Whilst wearing it under a hoodie, it fell out whilst going down to the basement.

Good knife but dangerous sheath

 The design of the handle can be great or terrible, depending on what you need it for. Some hand shapes will like the grip, others not so much. A forward grip, regular or saber, is very secure, if not exactly comfortable. A reverse grip (Edge out) i would rate it as awkward but useable
