Oh god, why? The Thunderbird also comes in an Active Pro version, but honestly, I prefer this model.

The drummer of my band just lent me his epiphone thunderbird and I am blown away by how good it sounds. Ive always heard predominantly not good things about the thunderbird such as it being too muddy or it having a bad tone, along with the neck dive and awkward body shape. After putting on some fresh strings and running it through my rig i am in love with how it sounds! The low end/ low mids are super tight and the mid to high midrange is very present and bright!

This bass has some annoying scratch marks on the upper rear horn, a small chip on the front of the headstock and the neck isn't quite straight, so it will need the truss rod adjusting.
