God damn, i heard these on the Drum Center of NH yt channel and instantly went looking. I already own a set of DW perf but these sounded so god damn good.

The pedal itself is pretty good IMO. However, the key holder seems like it was cheaply built. If used frequently, the plastic of the holder can just break, so it's useless at that point. The Speed Cobra is great for metal, the longer footboard leaves more foot room, and the smaller beaters might feel easier to play. The heel hinge on the DW 3000 is cheap though, so if you go with that then beware, it might break on you like it has for me.

I've had the 3000 for 6 months and now that I have a 5000 pedal I feel like I can give a pretty well rounded review of it. Definitely not the DW 3000 lol. I have it and that's my main complaint. Not good for 7" or 8" depth snares.

Good Pedals, both are pretty adjustable and very responsive. I have a small issue with the main pedal in that the chain gear can catch my toes when I play barefoot or in socks. Adjusting things hasn't helped. I should mention I have big size 13-14 feet. Interestingly, when I bought these from Amazon...

One of the first pedals I ever bought was the DW3000 and man, I just didn't like it. I ended up sending it back and tried out at least a half dozen others before I settled on a Pearl.

Great pedal. Decently fast. I play jazz so I don't use the bass drum consistently. Sometimes it will squeak noticeably during a quiet part of song. Like when using brushes. Probably needs to be lubricated. Otherwise quite happy with it. Have a wool batter installed and it works well.

DW pedals stuck if you're playing anything faster than 150 bpm and that's pushing it for good technique
