I bought a tama speed cobra last year, and it's been a great investment. It's such a smooth and comfortable pedal! It's also a long board if you're into that kind of thing too, although I just play heel up.

Speed Cobra is likely right at the top of your budget and would keep in the same brand ecosystem you're already in and you'll probably never need to buy another set of pedals again, either.

Trick Dominator vs Tama Speed Cobra? I’m torn between the two for my next upgrade. They both are significantly smoother and faster than my current iron cobra. But do any of you have these? How do they compare durability over years of usage? Any design flaws that set them apart from eachother?

That Trick is the "budget" of serious direct drive pedals, so if you are into extreme metal music go for it. Also the no lag drive link inmediately sets that pedal over the Speed Cobra.

it's fast, that's for sure, double bass strokes are cleaner and consistent, more so than pearl eliminator would have liked toe stoppers, otherwise i love it so much my first longboard as well, don't think I'll ever go back

Anyone tried the Roland RKP50D double kick pedal? How does it compare to a an entry level Speed or Iron Cobra 200/310 for a beginner on a Roland electronic kit?

I’d go with the budget speed cobra i forget what exactly it’s called but I’m sure you can find it with ease. Tama makes the best pedals in my opinion and these are great for the price.
