These pedals are worth every penny they are charging for. There is a reason why they are charging 600 for these, and its worth it. I play strictly death metal/death core, and let me say, these pedals are absolutely amazing,with playing the fast type of music i do, with the fast double bass, triplets, and quadruplets with the feet, there is no better way to go if you want to achive high speeds. I previously had before these the Iron Cobras, (which were awesome pedals) for 400 bucks they were worth it and, they were awesome

I played some very good pedals, but nothing compares to the fluidity and control that Axis pedals allow me. I absolutely love these pedals, and i will never look back. 600$ for a good reason, they're the only pedals you will ever use again.

 Before you buy, please beware; The pedal will not fit if you play electric.  Also, I should mention; If you are interested in buying these pedals because you have big feet and think heel-toe will be easier, save your money. Even if you have the rudiments down, it is just as hard to perform it on these as it is on standard size pedals. I made this mistake based on recommendation

 My $300 DW-7000 has an option for this, but a pedal twice the price doesn't?  What I have to do is fasten the pedal to the far right edge of the kick plate so that the left-most beater just barely fits on the mesh, and I have to leave the clamp quite loose or the tightening causes the beater position to naturally move off the mesh. Due to the loose tension of the clamp, the pedal comes unattached from the kick plate and I have to stop half way through the song to reattach. Eventually I gave up and put my old pedals back on. So my longboards are sitting in a dark closet collecting dust until I own a home that I can play acoustically in, or until I come into $500+ dollars to buy a larger mesh kick for my already $2,500+ setup

It works well and is built like a tank, but the DW3000 is just too heavy for me to carry to jobs (I'm getting old). The item description is incorrect that the Item Weight is 2.2 pounds, it weights 5.6 pounds

This pedal goes through those really well actually and as with most pedals you can adjust how tight you want this to feel and this particular pedal it's down here and that just determines how tight you want the spring and the chain action and it seems to be set up as is pretty well for me. I didn't really have to adjust anything but the great thing about this pedal is it can be very customized. You can adjust the footboard and pretty much every aspect of it if you wanted to

 So we're going to move this pedal around. Very solid bass, it's a very, very solid and sturdy pedal and it has the clamp right here where it goes to your bass drum. Another feature about this pedal is the adjustable clamp is on the outside of the pedal. Sometimes you have to go, you have to reach your hand below the footboard to actually tighten that and this one is on the outside

 So I'm going to show you the reaction time of this pedal with some of those quicker double hits. So that was just an example of how to play a double pedal with a single pedal.
