Canon PIXMA G620

I make stickers and labels for a local company. I use an older Canon Pixma inkjet...it prints very crisp images. Generic ink refills from Amazon. PhotoPaperDirect for sticker paper.

Canon Pixma or Epson Ecotank are the two most common ones I’ve seen used and recommended. Each line has a range of models based on price and need.

I personally have an Epson Ecotank.

Who knew they made a printer that doesn't do double sided print jobs? This is for photos only and makes fabulous photos, but not good for business stuff. It also quit working after only a few weeks.

I have and like the Canon Pixma printers, currently using a G6020 which uses ink tanks instead of expensive print head/ink cartridges.

Extremely difficult to set up. Input screen is too small and not backlit. Very hard to read. Excellent print quality.

You don’t need to bother with 3rd party ink. Use canon everyday photo paper and the colors will turn out right. Don’t use 3rd party ink, the oem refills are already really cheap. A better printer would be the Canon G620 which has 6 different (better) inks.

I purchased this printer to replace my Canon I9900 color printer that I bought over ten years ago. The I9900 was much faster then the G620 but I don't do volume printing so that is not an issue with me. The G620 is also not quite up to the quality of the I9900 but it is close and not having to const...

Even the third party alternatives are pricy. I don't know why but that seems to be a thing for cartridges with print head. My recommendation? If you're looking for quality pictures get a Canon Pixma.

I'm really hating this printer right now. I finally got it set up after way too many tries to get it connected to my computer via wifi. Of course, that may be the fault of my wifi and not anything to do with the printer itself. However--OMG this thing is loud!!! My previous printer was 12 years old ...
