Canon EOS R sometimes gets discounts for 1500 if you can find one of them (it was the previous Christmas idk it got the discount this Christmas or something). If not then go for RP specially if you're just doing photography and if 26mpx is enough for your work. They also come with lens adapters I think so you can still use all your EF and EF-S lenses (for EF-S the image gets cropped though).

Bought an eos R last year, if you don't shoot a lot of 4k video and don't need 10fps with continuous focus. Go for it, It's great and I love mine!
