Camera is awesome but BUYER BEWARE!!!
Love this camera. The stabilization has changed the way I film weddings. It's a thing of beauty to use a 70-200mm lens on a monopod for wedding toasts. The dual card slots is great to have. As one card runs out it switches to the next. I haven't played with the variable frame rate for slow mo video ...
The 7 Best 4k Cameras - Spring 2022
The Panasonic LUMIX GH5 II is arguably one of the best 4k video cameras you can get outside of buying a dedicated cinema camera. It has a Micro Four Thirds sensor and has plenty of advanced video features, making it a popular choice for amateur filmmakers and videographers. It feels incredibly comfortable to shoot with, has a fully articulated screen to make shooting video easier, and features five-axis in-body image stabilization to reduce camera shake when shooting handheld
Professional Videographer - Love this camera
This camera is a powerhouse for the price. Full disclosure, my first camera was a Panasonic SD camcorder back in 2005, then switched to a Canon Pro camcorder in 2009, then jumped on the Panasonic train again with the GH3 and was using them until I picked up the GH5. The image is amazing, but that's ...
Moving from M43 to Canon, a few questions
Panasonic's M43 cameras are far and away better for video production. G9, GH5, GH5S, GH6. The 90D cannot compete with any of these for video. For that matter, neither can the R5 with it's own video issues.
Is sony a 6400 with 18-105 f4 lens the best combo for video for that price range? Is there a better choice?
I may get roasted for this but: Unless you NEED low light you are better off with a Micro 43 with IBIS or even dual IS (on Lumix) and no overheating issues. For the cost of a 6400 you can get the gx9 perhaps even the g9 especially when you factor in lens cost. The GH5 is loved for video, though that may be a bit above your price range. But the G9 can do most of what gh5.. for a bit less money.
