First home theater with diy room treatment

A BenQ W2700 (HT3550) projector provides a decent image on the 150" screen. As of now it's just a 2.1 setup (Revel F208 + 15" subwoofer). I plan to extend this to at least 5.2 in the near future.

Next step up from Benq HT3550 / W2700?

W2700 is a classic model from BenQ although it has some bugs, but still, a popular option for a 4K projector. Besides, since you've mentioned the Xbox, you can also check on the upcoming BenQ X3000i which will be around 1800€. First Time Buyer Question (Epson eh-tw7000 or benq w2700)

Since you want a projector with great image quality, I think the W2700 is a pretty great one. It got 4K UHD resolution with vivid color details. It would be really good for movie watching and casual gaming. And BenQ offers a good warranty service, so don't need to worry about it.

Benq W1070 —> Benq W2500 or .. ?

I am sometimes noticing chromatic abberations and very strong blue colors (daniel craig james bond 4ks for example). I'd suggest looking at maybe the W5700 or Optoma UHZ 2000. I wouldnt buy the W2700 again.

Best projector under $1500 to use with iPhone and native Netflix?

Recently got the BenQ W2700 and it's been great, get an Apple TV with it and you're set, would recommend buying the non-smart one (W2700 not W2700i) if it's cheaper since you are already getting a great smart tv extension. Just note that the projector honestly only performs in complete darkness, which is totally fine by me since I only watch films without any lights on.

I bought the W2700 twenty-two months ago. It very quickly suffered from a "split" picture, where the left half was far brighter than the right half, or vice versa. BenQ replaced it. Now, the replacement also starts to show this behaviour - and more.
