If you want something that can take a beating none of these knives will do the job. I could however recommend the Benchmade freek in M4. It's a great knife, super tough and still very lightweight.

Looking for help from the guru's, I have a Benchmade 555. Its awesome but I want something new. Would like help for the next purchase. Here is some criteria

1) bomb proof/durable
2) not super expensive 
3) not overly larger, I like something a bit smaller
4) I like to fidget

 Hey guys, TalonSai who recorded this video, that version of him was a little crazy. So he forgot to check the hashtag LockdownKnifeWeek. I'm going to do that and then we'll let him take over and all of his craziness. So looking at the hashtag today, I still don't think anyone has actually posted the exact knife that we're going to be taking a look at

 So let me know. So that's all that I had for the freak or super freak whatever you want to call it. I think this knife will definitely keep its place in my collection and maybe in the future I'll even test it out, carry it a little bit. And I think this one would actually be pretty good for a stress test so maybe we'll have to take it outside and beat on it a little bit in the future

 Alright going crazy guys, what's up? Back with another episode of Stuff N' Things, lockdown knife week, quarantined inside and we're bringing some knife reviews today. This is one that you may have seen on the channel in the past, I actually opened this during a mail time video. I used it to open some packages during that video and since then it has been in my collection however, I have not EDC'd this. It has virtually no wear on it although this knife can definitely take it

 I know the 940s from Benchmade have a cult following and I'm just really not a fan of those blades simply because of the blade shape, the aesthetics of it. A ton of people swear by those knives and I know you guys want to see a review on that however it's just not something I'm really interested in. This one is a little bit more my speed and I'm curious if you guys have one of these out there. Let me know in the comments down below how the steel has held up

Large but pocketable | Benchmade 560 Freek

 I always have a hard time picking up these pieces of paper off of the material that I've got here as the background. But anyways, that's going to be pretty much it here today, guys, for the super freak. Fantastic knife. I urge you to check it out

 I'm having a lot of fun playing with this knife, and I think that it'll serve people really, really well. You know, one thing we didn't do, for those of you who are still hanging on with me, we didn't do the paper cut test. Given the shape of the blade and the starting thickness, I'm going to assume that this thing is going to be a paper shredding machine. As always, the paper cut test is not a definitive cutting test

 So this paper cut test is only designed to give you a minimal idea of the thinness behind the edge and how it cuts something as simple as paper. So actually, first, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to do a pass with the PM2. Everybody's standard for a slicey knife, PM2 as usual, very slicey

 This knife, aesthetically, is very pleasing to me. It may not be your cup of tea, but to me, this is an awesome looking knife. The materials are top notch. The fit and finish is great on this one

The biggest complaint is pricing, with the regular freek going at 120 ish I see no reason for this one to hit 200 - that's too much, s30v is perfectly fine, the only thing they need to replace is the original freek rubber-ish handle with FRN and be done with it.  By the way, if you have a smaller hand or want the mini grip size knife, wait for it, I bet the mini version will come later this year

 The M4 steel is (should be) excellent if it is like other benchmade M4, I'm yet to test it hard. The only downside of M4 is that it comes coated, and a coated blade on the axis lock sucks, it just takes away some of the smoothness opening and closing, oh well..

Nice design, room to improve

I really leave a good blade on my knife, but this being said, I much more love a comfortable handle with little to no hotspots on it. The more it fills my hand, the better.  I don't really use gloves, so this is an important aspect for me.

 Perhaps it’s oriented slightly more towards the lightweight camping and hunting ground. Benchmade doesn’t offer much insight in their product descriptions, but for some reason I keep going back to hunting when I consider the Freek.

 So the uh i'll give a couple details on the configurations of these, because it can be kind of confusing and it was fairly confusing for me when i first got these in and i was looking at um, i was looking at kind of the the box designations And whatnot, so both of these are drifts um. So this is obviously the g10 version down here and then this is the titanium version up here. The titanium version comes in a couple, different configurations um, so you have a stonewash finish on the the blade or the the handle right here. As you can see, i think they also have like a knurled finish here

So this is the satin blade and then on the g10 version here, which is the orange g10

 So for starters, i'm going to flip this over and you can take a look at the pocket clip here now. This reminds me a lot of the spyderco wire clip because they look almost identical with a few few differences, but it's excellent. I mean the you know it there's not much to it, it's very basic, but it works, and i think it holds very well. I like a deep, carry clip on something like this

Cut or Carry:  Quiet Carry Drift Review

 I love the waypoint, it's a knife. I'Ve also recommended a great deal, but now that the drift is fixed, i think that this is going to be a little just. I don't know i like the size a little bit more. I i think i, like the ergos a little bit more on the drift this

 More generally speaking, um, absolutely great steel. So, to me at least that's what's great is it happens to be completely stainless, all right so on the bad side to start with um. I i mentioned last time. The design on this guy feels a little bit less unique in that there are

 They improved the opening here, they've gone from that hole which was fine um, which was designed to kind of flick out with your index finger to a thumb, stud that is ambidextrous here, which is just oh yeah, that's good. That is a really really nice thumb. Stud opening i uh it's great - they strengthened up to the tent. This opens beautifully reliably

 Now i don't have one of the originals around anymore, that ended up being a knife that didn't stick around for the reason we'll talk about a little bit later, but and that was a knife that was really really good, but also really really frustrating, because it was So so excellent in so many ways, but then the opening was a problem because it had a hole that made it. Oh, that was okay for a flick opening, but the tent wasn't strong enough to make that a thing. So it was a knife that was really really good at every time, except the opening uh and the deployment on. It, though, was just not very good, and so it felt like a shot out of the pocket bounced off a light pole and landed in the stands right, not amazing, at all um
