 It is impossible to dial in any kind of good tone. I've been playing guitar for 31 years and I've never seen such a hissing, useless and uncontrollable foot pedal. Sending it back.

 Now, you don't really necessarily need it because the pedal itself only draws 3 milliamps of powers, which is an incredibly small amount, so the battery in here can last for several years. Another thing that's interesting is it comes with this rag that you kind of strangely wrap around, and these dice, you do something like this, and it's kind of like a little case. I liked it a lot, but I wanted something that did smooth vintage stuff on top of that. I've sort of realized there isn't really a pedal that does BOTH smooth vintage fuzz and fuzz factory-sounding stuff. I had a Spaceman Gemini IV that I didn't love, just not enough control over the tone. I got an OBNE Alpha Haunt and it has a ton of control but it's too gated even with the gate fully off. Now I'm not sure if I should buy two pedals or what. I've been reading about fuzzes nonstop, testing stuff at stores and I just wanna find the right pedal(s) for me! I like Stooges, My Bloody Valentine, 60's psych, Neil Young, Funkadelic, Edwyn Collins "Girl Like You" tone especially. Thanks y'all for the help!

Cannot find a fuzz that's right for me, really need some guidance!

 We looked at originally the Line 6, or the Digitech-based SynthWall, and then we went over the Line 6 FM4 Filter Modeler. Both pedals have a purpose, both pedals can be good, and both pedals can be really awful as well. This time, we're going to go over a pedal that is a little bit more rare, it's a little bit more difficult to get a really good sound out of, but when you do, it's worth it. It's on the pay scale, I'll give it two out of five for cost, because it is a little bit up there for a one-trick pony, but I'll tell you, this one-trick pony is pretty good

 So with that, you know that this pedal is not a very clean sounding fuzz. It just isn't. It's designed to be nasty. That being said, it is a master at being a gated fuzz and it plays well with both active and passive basses and it's a cheap alternative to the Woolly Mammoth if you don't have a Woolly Mammoth and you still have a passive bass, it's a cheap alternative and you can get really good sounds out of this pedal

 So to start out, we're going to turn these knobs down. Okay, so now we just got volume, the subs at zero, where I had it. So we've got our pedal, everything's down. Well, let's turn some tone up, we want to get some tone out of this
