So much for Swedish design elegance. I'll probably invest in some kind of LED attenuating adhesive plastic, or just put a strip of tape over it. Anyway, it's basically a great machine that seems to clear the air very well, but I think that the engineers geeked out over the controls, and currently there is no visible sign of support.

I am looking for recommendations on a louder air purifier. I have a dohn noise machine and it works well but instead of buying another I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations.

First, the good: the level 1 run setting is whisper quiet. Levels 2-3 are quite a bit louder but you're not going to move that much air without some noise so fair enough. I have like 4 cats and I have 3 air filters in my house to help with the dander. I honestly wish I could recommend this product.. I would honestly recommend cheap older products from this company

My allergist's office has one of these in the waiting room, so I assume it does its job very well. The problem is getting it to do its job. Blueair, with this purifier, has gotten the hard stuff right and the easy stuff totally wrong. Set-up is a nightmare

That all said I do like the AM90 and it works well, is quiet and being able to control it from my phone is Convenient. I replaced an old honey well which was noisier and had no remote capabilities.

I returned this and bought the Pro L instead. Fewer features but a lot more quiet and moves more air, that’s a win - win as far as I am concerned. Oh and since the Pro models are on now on sale it was cheaper too!!!

The controls are simple and intuitive and the air quality monitor is pretty receptive to VOCs. It doesn't run terribly loud when at levels 2+. There's a night time mode where it gets dead quiet. The design is modern and visually satisfying

We had no trouble setting it up and it is easy to operate. We generally keep it set on auto and it does its thing when I am cooking or something blows in from outside. Different color lights indicate air quality and we can see that it clears things out fairly quickly.

So far so good. Bought one of these a few months ago, initially since my wife and I seem to have developed greater sensitivity to spring pollen, which has been particularly heavy this year. Based on early positive perceptions of the first unit located in our bedroom, I bought 2 more to locate in other parts of the house where we tend to plant ourselves during the day. First unit came with broken controller board for WiFi and WINIX rep was easy to contact and very helpful in quickly shipping out replacement unit

We live in the Central Valley in California, which is prone to dust from farming, fire smoke and pollution from the highway. It’s like night and day in our house compared to being outside. Both kids have asthma and this product keeps them from coughing and from having asthma attacks at night. I just wish we’d bought it a lot sooner

Changing the filters is relatively simple and straight forward. Haven't tried the wifi yet.. I didn't really buy it so it could auto order filters though

These units are new to the market so time will tell if Costco sells replacement filters. Blueair customer service is in America so the reps are knowledgeable and speak well enunciated, articulate English. Well worth the money.
