 32 spokes laced a sealed bearing Nova Tech hubs Nova Tech tabs are some of the most consistent hums that you can get for the money. With a lot of entry-level bikes, it's a good idea to upgrade to something like a 200 to 250 dollar. We all set down the line, but with these I think that you would get a pretty marginal upgrade since the hubs are really buttery, smooth and they're sealed so they're not going to need to be maintained and the rims are light enough. What is a bit peculiar about the 4130 core line though is that only some colors have the option to choose between the deep dish wheels and the box-section wheels and always I would go for the box section wheels

 They look really awesome I Got this one in Nightshade Purple and it really does pop. There's also a whole host of other paint jobs that you can choose from. State also gives you the option to choose your preferred handlebar type whether that's risers, drops, or bullhorns, which is something that the competition doesn't offer. and handlebars are one of the most important components to get rights if you want to enjoy riding and be uncomfortable on your bike

 The 4130 core line is good for the price is just that. The Kilo TT pro is amazing for the price, but if you're not in the United States and you can't get one, then the stay 4130 core line is looking like your next best option assuming you get it from a shop and let them deal with state and fixie.  Those deep dish wheels are just heavier for no reason other than looks. As far as the components go, they're pretty generic, basic, but functional. Something to note is that it does come with a 144 BCD crank set, which is slightly better than the competition, but the finish on it it looks like they may have cut some corners and that the front side has this no smooth, consistent finish, but once you turn around to the back, it just looks like that. And like most of the competition, the pedals on this thing just suck and you should upgrade them pretty much immediately

Price point is that apart from the Cannondale maybe is that they use their own carbon cranks, but unlike other bikes around this price point, they don't spec a Gerace chain set and that's probably good for good reason. Mainly because Specialized bikes normally with Shimano components chain set in particular need an adaptor yeah, that's why, etc etc. So they use their own the user practices bottom bracket you do and they usually use for the lower models use practice chain sets but they've used their own carbon-fiber S-works chain set here which is very, very nice

 So that was a one of the major aspects between this bike and their old version. So it does look a lot thinner. and actually if you look at the bottom bracket of the old S-works tarmac in this one, you can really see how they yeah I think they lost like 30 grams in the bottom bracket alone. so housing really came down in size and they say that helps with a number of things like weight and aerodynamics

Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL6 | Review | Cycling Weekly

 The wheels that come on this bike are going to be a Axis Sport. It's an aluminum rim with aluminum spokes on there and they are a J-hook and just regular rounded spokes with a regular axis front hub. Nothing crazy about it. I believe Axis is going to be a in-house brand as well for Specialized, it's just kind of their cheaper wheel

 um, but it's very heavy. I'd recommend upgrading right away. Uh, and then you have your Specialized Power saddle. This is their sport saddle

 This is going to be a 100 millimeter stem. Yep, 100 millimeter stem. Negative. 6 degrees for the drop shift is on here

 Kind of a bummer, but you know, maybe upgrade later on down the road. Front rail is a Tiago front derailleur and right here you have the marking for a fact. Carbon 9r. Uh, and it says designed in California, made in Taiwan

 All that said, at 3 200, is this bike worth it? Yes, I think you would struggle to build this bike. Well, actually, you would definitely struggle to build this bike at this quality with these these parts for that much money. And that's basically because Specialized has the advantage of buying 27 bajillion of these wheel sets and and a million 105 group sets. And they get them a lot cheaper than you would

 At this price range you would expect a two-piece bar and stem. I'm happy happy with that for adjustability 105. Beautiful. Works well

 I love that this has a threaded bottom bracket. For years, we have been dealing with the creaky, creaky, creakies of press-fit bottom brackets. It's gotten better in recent years, but honestly, there's nothing like threaded bottom bracket to make sure that it's in there nice and tight. You're not going to get those creaks, so if you're a home mechanic, that's going to be really nice

 I. I agree with pretty much all of that. I'd say that the frame itself is it's wonderful. It feels just like the higher end tarmacs that I've ridden and I've ridden a lot of them

2022 Specialized Tarmac SL6 review: Flagship performance, distilled

I'm a Specialized fanboy through and through, but even so I have to say the entry-level Tarmac SL6 with the round seatpost is nothing to write home about. The frame is pretty heavy for a carbon race-oriented frame, and the componentry on it is pretty awful for the price.
