Perfect travel watch. I take this and this watch only on all of my overseas travel – functional, robust, don’t have to stress about banging it up, don’t have to worry about it getting stolen.

My watch lost only 27 seconds over the first 10 days of use. Having apparently settled in, it lost only an additional 6 seconds over the next 10 days. While not quartz-level accuracy, this is outstanding for a mechanical watch and truly exceptional for a Seiko automatic dive watch. The metal Jubilee bracelet, while not great, is not as bad as many people seem to think

A lot has been said about this one but it really is close to perfection. Timekeeping wise this is the most accurate mechnical watch I've owned, in a week it had gained 4 seconds which is really awesome.

Update 2/27/14: Just replaced the original Jubilee-style bracelet with a Super Oyster II band from Strapcode. It was a head-turner before, and now I consider this one of the best-looking and most distinctive watches in my collection..

In the end, for me, it felt more my style than a sub and has a bit more unique character to it. My favorite element is the contrast between the matte dial and the gilt shiny hands and marker surrounds.

The watch just looks and functions like something worth double the price. This was my first automatic time piece, but it's well worth the investment. You can wear this watch with super casual clothes up to probably business casual too (I wouldn't wanna wear it with a suit though). It's also one of those watches that gets respect of "watch guys", but is subdued enough to also get compliments from fashion watch fans like MVMT and why I didn't opt for the one with the "Pepsi" bezzel

I love the design and attention to detail this watch has, plus the fact that if you change the strap to a brown leather or even fabric it can be matched with more casual wear. Be sure to push the stem back in and twist to lock down. My favorite feature is the minute hand which shows up as a perfect arrow shape when the lume glows at night. Overall a very good watch.

my take: the everyday watch gotta have a date, preferably day/date, *at least* 100m water resistance, crazy comfortable to wear, good in every outfit (unless you have a particular watch for dressy occasions). anything from Sinn is a good idea, but you can also look at the Tudor Black Bay 58, if you don't own it already. oh and Yema makes some excellent divers that are usually in the 1k bucks range.

Love the watch! The metal bracelet band rattles and makes it feel and sound cheap. I switched to a NATO strap and have a rubber dive band on the way. This new NATO strap made all the difference in the world. It now looks and feels like a much more expensive watch

After seeing the Tudor Black Bay 58 on social media I had to go into an AD and see one for myself. Went to the closest AD and found one on their nato strap, tried it on, and fell in love! But I did not buy it on site. I had to try it on the bracelet before pulling the trigger.
