Seiko 5 Sports SRPD vs Tissot Visodate

. Initial impressions: The 5KX doesn't disappoint! The rich blue sunburst dial on the SRPD51 and applied indices are much more attractive than the original SKX's matte/printed dial, and while the bracelet and endlinks might be folded and hollow, the way it articulates is super comfortable, plus the smooth clasp functions very well. I'd even say that with the flat display caseback instead of the famous raised wave logo of the SKX, the 5KX sits nicer and more planted on the wrist

But let's take a closer look at this new visit date. So to begin here probably should look at the most notable change and that is going to be the case...

This great looking watch was exactly as shown and arrived as promised. Great price for a Seiko automatic.

This Tissot is very refined, stylistically its wonderfully simple. Functionality wise, its a five star situation; it tells time accurately and beautifully. The day/date function is really cool in that it doesn't do the traditional "slowly progress to the correct date" as most watches will, this one, at the stroke of midnight, clicks over instantly. I thought that was neat
