Tons of money, so I have high expectations. It's been three months of ownership.  Negatives:  Two months after ownership the company disabled one of the four cameras (the near-IR camera) with an OTA update. This camera was pretty cool and I had fun with it, got some cool shots

 Just pure bliss to use. 4K60 videos are smooth, and stills are gorgeous. Great color and detail. Wish I could make 48MP the default, unimpressed with the 12MP mode

Great hardware, Some complaints

 When really it was like, the rest of the phone was so incredibly good that feat: ok, camera was the downside, but again now we're looking at a flagship. Quality, camera and they've also been notoriously pretty good, with updating them over time and getting better with camera quality. That'S been nice plus they're, probably a G cam mod in the next couple weeks. Hopefully, if you want those sweet, pixel contrast II photos so yeah thumbs up on the camera and then one plus phones have long been some of my favorites specifically because of the software and optimized experience

It'S still looking pretty good with detail, and video from this camera is also good, especially with color and stabilization at 4k, and you can see no 8k video here, but you know you're not touching the iPhone when it comes to the absolute best video quality in a Phone right now, but this is still good flagship quality. Color me impressed, I think, god I think some people took me saying that the camera was the worst part of the phone last year as like some sort of horrific flaw in it

 The 4300 mAh battery has already lasted me a complete day and some change including a twelve-hour shift at work as an IT professional when I’m constantly using my phone to perform tasks. The warp charger is insanely fast as I can go to empty to a full charge in about 45 minutes. What it lacks, I don’t miss. The headphone jack is no more from the 6 but most all phones have said goodbye to that relic from yesteryear

 Maybe the issue is the impressive 120hz display which looks amazing. But battery life is just too short..

 Of course, i've got the ultramarine blue model and it looks amazing they've, given it a matte texture, that's soft to the touch and it doesn't get super reflective. The camera bump is tolerable, especially when you compare it to the note 20 ultra, for instance, if it really bothers you, i'd recommend picking up the carbon bumper case. It'S pretty slim and gives a nice snug fit for the phone. I'Ve been rocking this for a while, and i really like it

 I think you know it's priced aggressively and compared to the competition this thing it stands out. It really does now. Generally oneplus phones, don't go on sale that often, but when they do it's worth picking up. So that note, thank you so much for watching

 I honestly at this point, wished, if you know oneplus was able to just go back to the traditional standard, rear-facing fingerprint sensor i mean i would hands-down get that over something like an in-display fingerprint sensor, because it's physical, it's easy to reach it's practical. I also can't ignore some of the quality control issues that some users have been experiencing with the 8 pro specifically when it comes to the display. Also, some users have been experiencing wi-fi problems as well. Connectivity problems to be more precise

 Unfortunately, you're still getting a curved display, which i'm typically not a fan of, because i've had numerous issues with palm rejection when i'm browsing through the app drawer or checking mail, especially when using the phone in one hand, it'll just automatically open another app or select another Option when my palm gets in contact with the screen, not to mention this is a really big phone. It'S the screen spans across 6.78 inches it's about the same size as the note 20 ultra. So it's pretty difficult to reach the top spots

 We have a really good overall package. I, in my opinion, this is the best flagship on the market right now for Android users, but the price tag is weird for one plus. Now I think those last year I made a video entitled, I think, was called like the oneplus. We knew is dead or something like that, and basically was just the story of how one plus had shifted very very quickly over the years from a company that was very budget minded to a more premium device right now we're seeing extremely expensive flagship

 There is a big difference being 60 and 90, but if you are someone who's fortunate enough to have a device that does have a 90 Hertz panel, don't let that 120 Hertz jump be the main reason why purchasing this like it? It is noticeable if you look for it. The other thing is like its refresh rate on a phone right. This isn't like Pettit of Reddit browsing. You don't need that tactical advantage of 120 hurt screen

It'S nice, it's slightly easier on the eyes, but if for the people that just haven't experienced it ever, it's not the most important feature in the world, it's just nice to have. The performance is amazing, as you would expect, from a snapdragon 865 with UEFA's 3 storage and the lp ddr5 X memory

 That is better than like the vast majority of smartphones out there, but it really is like a kick-ass, 120 Hertz panel. I play a lot of games at high refresh rates like I I go for that stuff, but I have to look for it right. It doesn't like jump out immediately as being better like the 120 over the 90

 If there is one notable miss here, it is the telephoto camera. Now I've managed to get some decent shots with it, but there is one big caveat. This thing doesn't actually use optical zoom, 1 plus markets this as an 8 megapixel camera, but that's not technically true. It'S a 12 megapixel camera that crops down to 8 megapixels, which the company says, gives you lossless 3 times zoom

 All I can say is that, after using the galaxy s 20 ultra and now this - I don't want to use a slower screen and I'm sure a lot of you would wind up feeling the same way too. While we're talking about rival smartphones, the oneplus 8 does share another unsung feature with the galaxy s 20. These phones check for touch inputs on the screen faster than most phones by far we're talking 240 times a second, which means there's virtually no lag between the moment. You put your finger on the screen and the moment the screen starts reacting to it

 This time, though, I think we need to start with the most immediately impressive part of this device its screen. This is a six point. Seven eight inch, quad, HD, plus display and guys it is beautiful. Viewing angles are excellent and colors just look spot-on, which I guess is not a huge surprise, because Samsung made this screen more importantly, in refreshes at a rate of 120 Hertz
